Education: Bachelor of fine Arts Degree in Studio Art from the
University of Minnesota graduating in 1977.
Background: Beginning his career in 1977, Mark concentrated on portraits, original
paintings, commissions, murals, backdrops, sports and automotive
art.
Highlights: Created Commercial backdrops for Apropos Studio, Minneapolis,MN.
1990 and 1991.
Created prop art for Buena Vista Television 1991.
Set production for Dayton's 1991 Christmas Show.
Created art for NFL licensed Super Bowl Green Bay Packers commemorative plates
1994 - 1996
Mark's art appeared on the cover of "OLD CARS" magazine
May 1994, August 1998, April 1999, June 1999, June 2000,
Sept. 2000 Nov. 2000, Jan. 2001 and was feature in an article Feb. 2001.
He was featured in "Rod & Custom" magazine in both the
March 1998 and Dec. 1998 issues.
His paintings have been exhibited at Wilensky Art Gallery in Minneapolis, MN. 1990,
Master Framers gallery St. Paul, MN. 1983-1987,
MC Gallery Minneapolis, MN.1985-1986,
Artline Gallery St. Paul and Minneapolis,Mn. 1985-1997, and AZ gallery 2000-2007.
Mark was a featured artist at the St. Ignace, Michigan Straits Area Auto Show
in 1999 and 2000.
